Congratulations to Patti Rizzo

I was fortunate to introduce Patti Rizzo at the Broward Sports Hall of Fame dinner recently. It was a big event and over 500 people attended. I taught Patti. At one stage, she was the #1 ranked amateur in the United States. She won five times on the LPGA Tour and was Rookie of the Year in 1982. Patti also won the prestigious North and South Women’s Amateur at Pinehurst. Patti won nine times on the LPGA of Japan Tour. A graduate of the University of Miami, she’s now the head coach of the women’s golf team there…it’s one of the best jobs in the country.

It was a wonderful night and Patti made a beautiful speech. Wayne Huizenga was in attendance along with many other celebrities.

Congratulations to Patti.
